Curriculum: Generations of Grace

We believe in accurately teaching the whole counsel of God to the next generation and are confident that He will use His Word to transform the hearts of our children. Generations of Grace is a biblically based and God-centered curriculum designed for children three years old through the sixth grade. Over a three-year period, this curriculum covers the Old Testament historical books, the life of Christ, and lessons from Acts and Revelation. Every week, children in each age range learn from the same passage of Scripture in a way that is appropriate for their respective age.

Schedule:

The Kids for Christ Sunday School program meets weekly from 11:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M.

Note: Nurseries and two-year old classes also meet during this time.

Curriculum: Children Desiring God

We believe that children need to have a knowledge of God and understand that they can have a relationship with Him. We want children to become acquainted with the Word of God so that they treasure God alone as the One who saves and satisfies. The goal of Children Desiring God is to exalt God--to show Him as the great and almighty God, and to show His glorious work through Christ. In every lesson, Scripture is studied in the context of the questions: Who is God? What is He like? How should I respond to Him?

The Kids for Christ Children’s Church program meets each week from 9:30 A.M. to 10:50 A.M.

Ages:

Children’s Church programs are available for all children, infant through fifth grade.

The Kids for Christ ministry offers programs for children, infant through Pre-Kindergarten, Sunday evenings from 6:00 P.M. to 7:15 P.M.

School Year

Cubbies

The Cubbies program is designed for three- to four-year-olds. Each week our Cubbies hear a Bible story, sing songs, have a snack, and participate in a game/exercise time. There are also tasks to complete at home during the week which reinforce the biblical truth in the verse.

SPARKS

The Sparks program is designed for kindergarten through second grade and provides an opportunity to memorize Bible verses and learn biblical truths in a structured, exciting environment. The evening is divided into three components--small group time where children recite Bible verses and develop relationships with their leader, large group time where they hear a Bible story and sing songs, and game time where they learn cooperation as well as expend energy.

PRIMEtime

The purpose of PRIMEtime is to assist parents of third through sixth graders by teaching children biblical truths, memorizing Scripture, recognizing the importance of prayer, and worshiping together in song.

Prayer--Praying together weekly in small groups.

Relationships--Small group leaders endeavor to build positive relationships as they interact with our children.

Involvement in Ministry--Once or twice a year ministry activity. (rake leaves, visit nursing home, church work project, etc.)

Memorization--Reciting of verses memorized during the week.

Encouragement--Small group leaders encourage the kids in spiritual

Summer

The Kids for Christ Summer Adventure is designed as an expedition for children ages pre-kindergarten through fifth grade (current school year). In our Summer Adventure we will explore the Bible in our quest to learn more about God, sing praises, memorize Scripture, and participate in lively outdoor games. Our hope is that this journey will help children find the true Treasure--Jesus Christ--so that they can become Kids for Christ!

Schedule:

The Kids for Christ Wednesday Night program meets throughout the entire year. We meet on Wednesday nights from 7:00 P.M. to 8:15 P.M.

Ages:

The Kids for Christ Wednesday Night programs are for children infant through sixth grade.

The Kids for Christ Children’s Ministry offers many other special events and programs throughout the year designed to help children in their spiritual walk and to provide outreach opportunities to their friends. Among these include:
