Preschool Goals

• Physical:
  1. To protect the health and safety of your child.
  2. To help your child develop large motor skills, fine motor skills and coordination.
  3. To reinforce good health habits.
• Social:
  1. To provide an environment which fosters a sense of security in your child.
  2. To help your child relate to and feel accepted by peers.
  3. To reinforce the development of a sense of responsibility for work and actions.
• Mental:
  1. To stimulate your child's curiosity and imagination.
  2. To help your child develop feelings of competence and satisfaction in mastering new skills.
  3. To build a positive attitude in your child toward his/her education.
  4. To teach your child kindergarten readiness skills including colors, numbers, shapes, introduction to letters, listening skills, and group structure.
• Spiritual:
  1. To help your child know that God made and cares for each person, the world, and the things in it.
  2. To provide a happy experience for your child, expressing love for God through conversation, singing, and prayer.
  3. To provide a balanced curriculum that includes relating the Bible and the Lord to everyday life.
