Room to Grow.

We are so excited to kick off our Room to Grow campaign to raise funds for the newly approved Building Project! God is doing great things at West Cannon Baptist Church, and we are eager to see His hand throughout the building process.

​

The total cost of the Building Project is $5.5 million, but to break ground, we will need 70% ($3.85 million) accounted for in upfront cash gifts and  3-year pledges. Any gifts given between now and December 31, 2026, will count toward our upfront gifts. Gifts given on or after January 1, 2027, will be applied toward your pledge.

​

The Room to Grow pledge cards will ask for your upfront gift through 2026 and your total 3-year pledge. Physical pledge cards are available at the Opportunity Desk, or you can click the link below to submit your pledge digitally. When filling out the pledge card, please prayerfully consider your ability to give to the Building Project.

All pledge cards must be returned to the church by July 19.

Please note that all gifts and pledges must be designated to the Journey Fund and made in addition to your normal tithe. While giving may look different for each person, we encourage you to participate in any way that you are able and pray with us as we continue this next step in faith.

As with all giving at West Cannon Baptist Church, individual gifts and pledges remain confidential and are accessible only to the church's Finance Department.

Ways to Give.

All gifts and pledges must be designated to the Journey Fund to support the Building Project.

  • Cash or Check

    • Cash should be placed in a labeled envelope. Checks can be made out to West Cannon Baptist Church with “Journey Fund” noted in the memo. Checks and cash envelopes can be mailed to the church office or dropped in the offering box at the back of the sanctuary.

  • Online Giving

    • ACH/direct deposit (preferred method), Credit cards, and Apple Pay are accepted through online giving on the Church Center app, which can be accessed through a mobile device or a computer. For instructions on how to set up online giving, visit westcannon.org/give or contact the office. Both one-time and recurring gifts can be set up online.

  • Qualified Charitable Distributions

    • If you are 70.5 years old or older, you can give directly from your IRA. Your financial custodian needs to send the check directly to the church. To direct a QCD to the Room to Grow campaign, “Journey Fund” must be noted in the memo. 

  • Publicly Traded Securities

    • This includes ETFs or mutual funds transferred to the church’s brokerage account. Please contact the church office for transfer information.
